TEREA, IQOS ILUMA & RELX Product Guide

This guide covers everything we sell: TEREA sticks for IQOS ILUMA, the ILUMA i device range, BLENDS for IQOS BONDS and RELX pods and devices. It explains which sticks fit which device, how the flavor families differ, how to check that a pack is fresh and genuine, and how to look after your device. Product names and prices below are taken from our current listings, and the country of origin is shown on every product.

Which device works with which sticks?

TEREA sticks work only with IQOS ILUMA devices, and BLENDS work only with IQOS BONDS. Matching the stick to the device is the first thing to get right, because the systems do not mix.

• TEREA fits the IQOS ILUMA family, including ILUMA i One, ILUMA i Standard and ILUMA i Prime. TEREA does not work in older blade IQOS devices such as IQOS 2.4, IQOS 3 or IQOS 3 DUO.
• HEETS are made for those older blade devices (2.4, 3 and DUO) and do not work in ILUMA. Our TEREA vs HEETS guide explains the difference in more detail.
• BLENDS are made only for IQOS BONDS. Our BLENDS for IQOS BONDS category describes them as sticks built around Indonesian clove, with nine editions at AED 110 each.
• RELX is a separate closed-pod system. RELX pods go in RELX devices only and have nothing to do with IQOS.

How do you choose a TEREA flavor?

Start by deciding whether you want plain tobacco, menthol, or a stick with a flavor capsule. Once you know the family, compare the taste notes on each product and pick the origin that suits your budget.

Tobacco-led flavors with no menthol

• Silver is described as the lightest tobacco option, with a toasted base, subtle spicy-herb notes and a smooth finish.
• Yellow is described as a soft, balanced tobacco with light citrus and herbal notes.
• Teak is described as toasted tobacco with creamy, nutty notes and a slightly woody character, stronger than Silver and softer than Bronze or Amber.
• Amber is described as toasted tobacco with light woody and nutty notes.
• Bronze is described as a warm, rich blend with cocoa and dried fruit notes.
• Sienna is described as rich and balanced, with roasted, woody notes and a gentle touch of spice.

The TEREA Regular Flavors collection is a separate group of seven tobacco-focused editions, all from Japan, with no menthol cooling. Some keep to plain tobacco, while others add touches such as malt, coffee and cinnamon, or red berries.

Menthol and fresh flavors

The TEREA Menthol Flavors collection holds 16 editions, from pure menthol and mint to fruity menthols. A few examples from the store’s descriptions:

• Turquoise: lightly toasted tobacco with crisp menthol and zesty, minty notes, with a mild intensity.
• Purple Wave: dark berry notes with icy menthol over a tobacco base.
• Green Zing: cool menthol with green tea and citrus notes.
• Summer Wave: peach and melon with citrus freshness and a soft menthol chill, with no capsule.

The TEREA Black Flavors line pairs menthol with a deeper, fuller tobacco base. We stock seven Black editions, five from Japan and two from Indonesia.

Pearl capsule sticks

TEREA Pearl Flavors have a small crushable capsule in the filter. You can use the stick as it is for the tobacco base, or press the filter to release fruit and cooling notes. Sun Pearl, for example, is described as balanced toasted tobacco before the click and watermelon with cooling menthol after it. Other Pearl names include Oasis, Twilight, Provence, Tidal, Starling and Riviera.

Does the country of origin matter?

The country changes the price and which flavors are on offer, and the same flavor name is often sold under several origins. The origin is printed on every product, so you always know which edition you are ordering.

• TEREA Indonesian Flavors: from AED 120, with 23 editions, the largest range alongside Japan.
• TEREA Kazakhstan and TEREA Uzbekistan: from AED 125.
• TEREA Kyrgyzstan: AED 130.
• TEREA Swiss Flavors: AED 150.
• TEREA Italy Flavors: AED 170.
• TEREA Japan Flavors: AED 204, with 23 editions including the whole Regular collection.

If one origin of your usual flavor is out of stock, another country’s edition of the same name is a sensible first thing to try.

How should you store TEREA and check its freshness?

Keep TEREA sealed, indoors and somewhere cool and dry, and check the printed batch code on the pack. TEREA is real tobacco, so heat and dry air affect both taste and draw.

• Store packs out of direct sunlight and never leave them in a parked car during the UAE summer, which can dry the sticks out.
• Keep each pack sealed until you are ready to use it.
• Look for the short batch or date code on the bottom or side flap of the pack, usually near the barcode. Cartons often carry the same code on the base.
• TEREA does not carry a food-style expiry date. Our manufacture date guide suggests using sticks within about a year of manufacture for the fullest flavor.
• A fresh pack has an intact seal, firm sticks and a clean tobacco smell. Dry, brittle sticks or a flat, musty smell point to old or badly stored stock.

Ordering little and often works better than stockpiling, especially through the summer months.

How can you tell genuine TEREA and devices from fakes?

Genuine packs have crisp printing, a legible batch code, an intact factory seal and sticks that sit snugly. The simplest safeguard is buying from a trusted UAE seller.

• Printing: text and branding should be sharp, not blurry or faded.
• Code: a missing or hand-printed batch code is a red flag.
• Seal: the wrap should be tight and untouched.
• Sticks: loose or uneven sticks in the pack are a warning sign.

Devices are copied too, so buy them from the same trusted source as your sticks. We sell original stock, devices are supplied sealed, and unused sealed items can be returned within 7 days. Opened sticks cannot be returned.

Which IQOS ILUMA i model should you buy?

Choose ILUMA i One for a single compact device, ILUMA i Standard for a holder with a pocket charger and a touch screen, and ILUMA i Prime for the same two-piece format with a textured wrap and interchangeable wraps and rings. All three heat TEREA with the bladeless SMARTCORE INDUCTION system.

• ILUMA i One colors include Midnight Black, Breeze Blue, Digital Violet, Vivid Terracotta, Lime Green, Electric Purple and a Remix Limited Edition. Our category page calls it the simplest device in the lineup, with no touchscreen and no settings menu.
• ILUMA i Standard comes in Midnight Black, Blue, Digital Violet, Orange, Green, Electric Purple, Galaxy Blue Limited Edition and a REMIX Limited Edition.
• IQOS ILUMA i Prime is listed in Midnight Black, Breeze Blue, Garnet Red, Aspen Green, Electric Purple and a REMIX Limited Edition.

How do you look after an ILUMA i device?

ILUMA i needs very little care, because there is no heating blade inside to clean. A dry wipe of the stick chamber every so often is enough, according to our ILUMA i One page.

• Charge fully before first use with a USB-C cable. The ILUMA i One kit has no wall adapter, so use your own USB-C plug or a computer port.
• Insert each TEREA stick up to the marked line. Heating starts on its own with AutoStart.
• Remove the used stick when the session ends and insert the next one. There is no cleaning step in between.
• Use only genuine TEREA sticks in the device.
• Keep the device out of direct sun and away from a hot car, the same as your sticks.

What RELX devices and pods are available?

We stock two RELX devices, the RELX Infinity 2 and the RELX Artisan, together with RELX Pod Pro and Pod Pro 2 pods. RELX is a closed-pod system, so there is nothing to refill and no coil to change.

• RELX devices start from AED 150. The Infinity 2 product page lists three selectable power modes, and the Artisan page describes leather or metal finishes in eight shades.
• RELX Pod Pro 2 pods start from AED 23. They are sold in more than one strength, and the strength is shown in each product name.
• RELX Pod Pro pods come in a wide flavor list on the product page, including Lush Tobacco, Menthol Xtra, Lemon Mint, Fresh Red, Grape and Juicy Apple.

On compatibility, the product pages for both the Infinity 2 and the Artisan list RELX Pod Pro and RELX Pod Pro 2. Pods are pre-filled and single-use. Check that the pod name on the order matches what your device page lists.
